As shared in part 2, it is up to individual preference to utilize the sector benefits through Feng Shui items, moving furniture or even inaction. Even if no action is taken, cleanliness and neatness is still a must as this create the right Qi & harmony in the house.
On second part of the article, we will share some common methods used by both classic & modern Feng Shui.
Star Number 8 (Center)
Prosperity Star (八白左辅星)
Prosperity Star, an auspicious star, is located at center of the house where your red X is.
To utilize this location mainly for wealth:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend placing work desk, spending time in this space for working or study or even shifting of work-related items here. This only make sense if the house center is a room and not middle of a living room!
Classic Feng Shui will recommend yellow (Earth element) or white (Metal) colored items such as crystals, Liu Li (crystal glass), Pixiu (貔貅), treasure bowl (聚宝盆), yellow crystals wealth tree (黄水晶招财树), copper dragon turtle (金铜龙龟) clay or metal material items.
Main intention behind these items is to attract and enhance wealth.

Star Number 1 (West)
Favorable Star (一白贪狼星)
Favorable Star, an auspicious star, is located on west of the house.
To utilize this location mainly for career:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend placing work desk, spending time in this space for working or study or even shifting of work-related items here. Same logic applies as of above star.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend pink or white (metal) colored Feng Shui items such as pink crystals, Liu Li (crystal glass), metal material items as metal enhance water element (wealth).
In addition, they will recommend to put some Feng Shui preventive items to neutralize the Grand Duke Jupiter Star (流年三煞凶位).
Star Number 9 (Northwest)
Multiplicative Star (九紫右弼星 )
Multiplicative Star, an auspicious star, is found at Northwest of the house.
To utilize this location mainly for General Happiness:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend using this space to make business plan, investment or planning related stuff.
In addition, may advise to place some plants (wood element) to enhance fire element to promote general happiness. Plants such as Green Bamboo for career growth (You can read these articles on CNY plants or Feng Shui plants to enhance).
Classic Feng Shui will recommend green (wood) crystals, Liu Li (crystal glass), Pixiu (貔貅), treasure bowl (聚宝盆), yellow crystals wealth tree (黄水晶招财树) or other Feng Shui auspicious items.
Star Number 6 (East)
Celestial Star (六白武曲星)
Celestial Star, an auspicious star, is found at East of the house.
To utilize this location mainly for Career or progression:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend placing work desk, spending time in this space for working or study or even shifting of work-related items here. Same logic applies as of above star.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend yellow (earth) colored Feng Shui items such as crystals, Liu Li (crystal glass), pixiu, treaure bowl, yellow crystals wealth tree, clay material items or other wealth enhancement items.
Star Number 5 (Southwest)
Wicked Star (五黄廉贞星)
Wicked Star, an inauspicious star, is found at Southwest of the house.
To minimize this sector effect:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend not doing any renovation works, working or studying in this space.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend placing ancient coins, Shi Gan Dang (石敢当), others amulet or preventive measure items. For inaction, will advise keep the space clean and neat.
Star Number 2 (Northeast)
Illness Star (二黑星巨门星)
Illness Star, an inauspicious star, is found at Northeast of the house.
To minimize this sector effect:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend try not to work or study in this space as this will create stress and health issues.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend placing metal material or obsidian items such as wind chimes, obsidian gourd or Feng Shui preventive items on health issues.
Star Number 7 (Southeast)
Robbery Star (七赤破军星)
Robbery Star, an inauspicious star, is found at Southeast of the house.
To minimize this sector effect:

Classic Feng Shui will recommend placing obsidian Shan Hai Zhen (山海镇) or inaction in this sector by ensuring cleanliness.
Star Number 3 (South)
Quarrelsome Star (三碧禄存星)
Quarrelsome Star, an inauspicious star, is found at South of the house.
To minimize this sector effect:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend minimize the time spent in this space for working or studying.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend placing pink crystals to promote relationship.
Star Number 4 (North)
Academic Star (四绿文曲星)
Academic Star, an auspicious star, is found at North of the house.
To utilize this sector effect mainly for academic or fame:
Modern Feng Shui will recommend placing work desk, spending time in this space for working or study or even shifting of work-related items here. Same logic applies as of above star with similar recommendation.
Classic Feng Shui will recommend placing pagoda (文昌塔), Feng Shui academic pen (文昌笔), green bamboo plant or Feng Shui related items that signify progression.
